Psalm 119:89–96 — Forever, O Lord, Your Word Is Settled in Heaven

“O Lord, Forever Your word stands settled in heaven, A foundation that is unchangeable, An anchor for my soul in every storm.” “Your faithfulness, O God, Reaches from generation to generation, As You established the earth, And it stands secure beneath Your mighty hand. All creation obeys Your ordinances, And every part of the universe serves Your purpose, Reflecting Your glory.” “In my times of trouble, Your law has been my delight, A source of strength when I felt I could not stand. Without it, I would have perished, Lost in despair and confusion. Yet I will never forget Your precepts, For by them, You have breathed life into my weary soul.” “I belong to You, Lord; Save me, for I am Yours! I have sought Your precepts with diligence, Recognizing them as my greatest need. When the wicked conspire against me, I will not be shaken, For I will ponder Your testimonies, Finding refuge in Your truth.” “I lift up my voice, For I know others share this journey, In times of trouble and persecution. May we find comfort in each other, Encouraging one another to delight in Your word, And to seek Your wisdom together, Knowing that Your commands are for our good.” “I see that all human perfection has its limits, Even the noblest among us will fall short, But Your commandments, Lord, Are exceedingly broad and limitless, Extending into eternity, Providing guidance and hope, Even when all else seems fleeting.” “Thank You, Lord, For Your unfailing love and truth. In every moment of uncertainty, Help me to anchor my heart in Your word, And to trust in Your promises, Knowing that You are my everlasting refuge, today and forever more, Amen.”
