Psalm 119:57–64 — The Lord Is My Portion; I Promise to Keep Your Words

“Lord, You are my portion, My treasure, The source of all I need. I have promised to keep Your words, To hold them close to my heart.” “With all my heart, I seek Your favor, Desiring Your mercy and grace. According to Your promise, Shower me with kindness, For I long to dwell in Your presence.” “I have considered my ways, And I turn my feet toward Your testimonies. In every step I take, Let it be toward obedience, Following the path You have set for me. I hurry to keep Your commandments, Not hesitating, not delaying, For Your ways lead to life.” “When the cords of the wicked encircle me, Threatening to ensnare my spirit, I will not forget Your law, For Your word is my shield, My refuge in times of trouble.” “At midnight, I will rise to give thanks to You, Offering my praise for Your righteous ordinances. I am not alone; I am a companion to all who fear You, Those who honor and keep Your precepts. In our unity, we find strength, A shared reverence for Your name.” “The earth, O Lord, is full of Your lovingkindness, Your goodness surrounds us like a gentle breeze. Teach me Your statutes, Open my eyes to Your truth, That I may walk in Your light, Finding joy in Your ways.” “Lord, may Your presence guide me, As I navigate this journey, Finding comfort in Your law, And strength in Your love, forever, Amen.”
