Psalm 119:65–72 — You Dealt Well With Your Servant; Affliction Taught Me Your Word

“Lord, almighty God, You have dealt well with me, Your servant, According to Your promise. Your faithfulness surrounds me, And I am grateful.” “Teach me good judgment and knowledge, For I believe in Your commandments. Help me discern between right and wrong, Guide my steps with Your wisdom, So I may walk in the light of Your truth.” “Before my affliction, I went astray, But now I embrace Your word, Honoring it with loving obedience. In the midst of trials, I have found Your guidance, Leading me back to Your heart.” “You are good, Lord, and You do good; Teach me Your statutes, For in Your teachings, I discover life. Even when the arrogant forge lies against me, I will keep Your precepts with all my heart, Finding strength in Your promises.” “Their hearts are dull and insensitive, But I delight in Your law, In the company of those who revere You. Let our hearts be united in The pursuit of righteousness, Encouraging one another to stand firm.” “It is good for me that I have been afflicted, For in my struggles, I have learned Your statutes. In the refining fire of trial, You shape my character, Turning my heart toward You.” “The law from Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver pieces. Your words are my treasure, My greatest joy. May I always find value in Your truth, Clinging to it as I journey through life, Amen.”
