Psalm 119:97–104 — Oh How I Love Your Law; It Makes Me Wiser Than My Enemies

“O Lord, my God, How I love Your law! It is my joy and my meditation throughout the day, A light that guides my path and comforts my soul.” “Your commandments grant me wisdom, Making me wiser than my enemies, For Your words dwell within me, A constant reminder of Your truth and strength. In times of confusion, I find clarity in Your testimonies, Meditating upon them brings deeper insight, Greater understanding than all my teachers, For Your word is my foundation.” “I seek to live according to Your precepts, Learning and growing as I keep Your commandments. Your guidance restrains my feet from every evil way, Protecting me from paths that lead to destruction. I have chosen to turn my heart towards You, Embracing Your ordinances, Knowing that You Yourself have taught me, Drawing me closer to Your will.” “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! I savor the richness of Your promises, Finding nourishment in every truth You reveal. Your precepts provide understanding, Opening my eyes to the beauty of Your ways, Leading me away from every false path.” “I pray for those around me, That they too may discover the delight in Your law. May we, as a community, Encourage one another to meditate on Your word, Finding strength and wisdom together, Trusting that Your commandments protect and guide us.” “In a world filled with confusion, Help me to cling to Your truth, To understand more deeply and follow more faithfully, Rejecting every lie that seeks to lead me astray.
