Psalm 119:41–48 — Let Your Steadfast Love Come; I Will Answer Those Who Mock

“Lord, let Your lovingkindness Come to me again, As You have promised. In Your faithful salvation, Let me rest secure, For Your word is true, And Your promises are unshaken.” “Grant me, Lord, the confidence I need To answer those who mock, To stand firm in the face of doubt, For my trust is anchored in Your word. It is Your truth that sustains me, And I wait patiently, expectantly, For Your ordinances to guide me.” “Do not let Your word Be taken from my mouth, Keep it always near, For it is the truth I cling to, And I seek Your commandments To shape my life. I will keep Your law, O Lord, Not for a day, but forever— Writing Your precepts upon my heart, That I may never stray from Your ways.” “Thank You, Lord, For the freedom found in Your precepts. As I walk in them, I find liberty, Not constraint— For Your ways bring life and peace. I long for Your commandments, And I delight in the guidance They provide. Teach me, And I will follow, Trusting always in Your wisdom.” “Give me courage, Lord, To speak Your testimonies Before all, even before kings, Without shame or fear. As Your servant, I will proclaim Your word, with joy, For Your commandments are my delight. Let my life be a witness to Your truth, That others may see and be drawn to You.” “When I feel the weight of this world, I lift up my hands to You, For I love Your commandments. They are my strength, my comfort, And my hope. I will meditate on Your statutes, Even in times of doubt, For You are faithful, And Your word never fails.” “Lord, let Your lovingkindness And salvation be my constant guide.
